Job Description:
The Chief Accountant will play a key role in supporting the Finance Manager by managing and overseeing all accounting operations within the organization. This role involves preparing financial statements, profitability analyses, and cash flow reports, while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the construction industry and be proficient in Oracle ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and present monthly profitability analyses for all projects and activities.
Develop and maintain accurate cash flow statements and balance sheets.
Assist in managing bank requirements for various financial facilities.
Utilize Oracle ERP for efficient and accurate financial data processing.
Support the Finance Manager in preparing year-end accounts and audits.
Oversee financial compliance with local regulations and company policies.
Handle additional accounting functions as required by management.
Qualifications:
Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).
Minimum 20 years of relevant industry-specific experience, with a strong preference for candidates from the construction sector.
In-depth knowledge of financial management, reporting, and analysis.
Proficiency in Oracle ERP and other accounting software.
Strong understanding of local and international accounting standards.
