Job Description:

A reputed company in Qatar is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor (Pre-Contract) with extensive experience in infrastructure projects, including roads, utilities, and pipelines. The role involves managing all pre-contract quantity surveying functions, including tendering, cost estimation, and commercial bid preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage cost estimations, BOQs, and tender documents.

  • Handle pre-contract commercial tasks, including pricing and value engineering.

  • Analyze technical specifications and drawings to determine scope of work.

  • Evaluate and compare quotations from vendors and subcontractors.

  • Participate in contract negotiations and prepare contract documents.

  • Ensure adherence to local construction regulations including QCS and Ashghal guidelines.

  • Coordinate with engineering and planning teams for smooth tendering processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in quantity surveying, including at least 5 years in Qatar.

  • Strong understanding of QCS, Ashghal, and QE contract procedures.

Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in cost estimation and tender documentation.

  • Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.

  • Strong command of English; both written and verbal.

  • Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.

Other Requirements:

  • Must be currently residing in Qatar.

  • Transferable visa with NOC is mandatory.
