Job Description:

A reputed trading company in Qatar is looking to hire a Senior Accountant who is a graduate with 4–5 years of accounting experience, specifically in the trading sector. The ideal candidate must be proficient in ERP (SAP), Excel, and POS systems and capable of handling all core accounting functions independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accuracy and compliance of financial records and reports.

  • Handle Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).

  • Maintain and manage accounting systems, records, and databases.

  • Generate monthly/quarterly financial statements and reports.

  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth accounting operations.

  • Meet strict reporting deadlines and support audits when required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Professional certification (such as ACCA, CMA, or CPA) is a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum 4–5 years of accounting experience, must be from the trading sector.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP).

  • Strong knowledge of Excel and POS systems.

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
