Job Description:
ESSME is seeking a highly experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Mechanical Packaged Equipment / Skids. The ideal candidate will oversee project execution, ensure adherence to technical and quality standards, and manage all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage mechanical skid fabrication projects from initiation to completion.
Coordinate between engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of packaged equipment systems.
Review and approve project specifications, drawings, and documentation.
Ensure adherence to international codes, safety standards, and client requirements.
Monitor project timelines, cost control, and resource allocation.
Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and clients.
Communicate with stakeholders to ensure project alignment and client satisfaction.
Manage subcontractors and vendors involved in project delivery.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 15 years of experience in handling Mechanical Packaged Equipment / Skid-based projects.
Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Industrial sectors preferred.
PMP certification is a plus.
Skills:
Strong project management and leadership skills.
In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, fabrication, and process skids.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in project planning tools like MS Project or Primavera.
Ability to resolve technical issues and manage multidisciplinary teams.
Familiarity with ASME, API, and other international standards.
Additional Requirements:
Must be currently in Qatar with a valid visa and able to transfer sponsorship with NOC.
