The Mechanical Estimation Engineer will be responsible for evaluating project requirements, preparing cost estimates, and analyzing mechanical systems related to fire fighting systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of NFPA standards, Fire Fighting systems (FF), and should preferably hold UPDA / QCDD certification.
Review project specifications, drawings, and tender documents.
Prepare accurate BOQ and detailed cost estimates for Fire Fighting systems.
Conduct material take-offs and pricing from drawings.
Evaluate supplier/subcontractor quotations and incorporate into the estimate.
Coordinate with design and procurement teams to validate estimations.
Ensure compliance with NFPA codes and QCDD standards.
Attend pre-tender meetings and support project bidding.
Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize cost and system design.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
4 to 6 years of experience in mechanical estimation, specifically in Fire Fighting systems.
In-depth knowledge of NFPA standards and Fire Fighting (FF) systems.
Preferably UPDA certified and/or holds QCDD license.
Strong estimation and analytical skills.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word), AutoCAD, and estimation software.
Strong knowledge of mechanical codes and fire safety regulations.
Attention to detail and accuracy in BOQ and costing.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Transferable visa with valid NOC.
Immediate availability preferred.
