Job Description:

Fontas Engineering Technology is seeking a CCTV Technician with strong technical skills in networking and switches. The technician will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of CCTV systems across various sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure CCTV systems

  • Set up and maintain network switches and structured cabling

  • Troubleshoot issues related to video surveillance systems

  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance

  • Prepare reports and maintain documentation of installations and configurations

  • Ensure system functionality and compliance with safety standards

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Electronics, IT, or related field

  • At least 2 years of experience in CCTV system installation and networking

  • Locally available candidates preferred

Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of CCTV system architecture

  • Proficiency in networking, including IP addressing and switch configuration

  • Familiar with different types of cameras (IP, analog) and DVR/NVR systems

  • Ability to read and understand system schematics

  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
