MIL General Trading Co., a well-established firm in Doha, is urgently hiring a Procurement Assistant. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle procurement operations efficiently in a fast-paced trading environment.
Handle purchasing processes for materials, equipment, and supplies.
Evaluate and compare supplier quotes and negotiate pricing and delivery terms.
Prepare and maintain purchase orders, delivery schedules, and supplier records.
Coordinate with internal departments to determine procurement needs.
Follow up with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery.
Maintain accurate inventory and procurement records.
Assist with vendor selection and supplier performance evaluation.
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in trading companies.
Valid and transferable visa with NOC is mandatory.
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Familiarity with procurement software or ERP systems
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Fluent in English; Arabic knowledge is a plus
