URGENT HIRING – Sr. Mechanical Engineer (Grade C MMUP/UPDA Certified)

Job Description:

Rahman Group is seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to support its growing building construction projects in Qatar. The ideal candidate must hold a valid Grade C MMUP/UPDA Certification and have strong experience within the GCC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage mechanical design, planning, and site execution for building construction projects.

  • Oversee HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, and other MEP systems.

  • Prepare and review mechanical shop drawings and technical submittals.

  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project teams.

  • Ensure compliance with Qatari codes and international standards.

  • Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues.

  • Prepare project documentation and reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

  • Grade C MMUP/UPDA Certification (mandatory).

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in mechanical works for building construction.

  • Local candidates with valid QID and transferable visa.

Skills Required:

  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other mechanical design tools.

  • Strong knowledge of QCS and international standards.

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Strong project coordination and communication skills.

  • Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
