Job Description:

Office Light Trading & Contracting is urgently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer specialized in Smart Home Automation (KNX). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, programming, and commissioning KNX-based lighting control and automation systems. You will play a key role in implementing high-quality smart home and commercial lighting control solutions using leading lighting brands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program and configure smart control systems, primarily KNX-based.

  • Create and interpret logic flow diagrams for smart system design and programming.

  • Integrate and troubleshoot programmable modules.

  • Prepare cost estimates and technical proposals for automation projects.

  • Collaborate with clients and project managers to understand system requirements.

  • Conduct testing, commissioning, and final handover of systems.

  • Maintain documentation and technical reports for installations and configurations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Smart Home Automation systems, preferably with KNX.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proficient in KNX programming and configuration tools (ETS software).

  • Knowledge of lighting control systems and automation.

  • Experience with relevant lighting brands (e.g., Lutron, ABB, Schneider Electric, etc.).

  • Strong understanding of control logic and wiring diagrams.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

  • Ability to prepare and review BOQs and quotations.

  • Good communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
