 Position: Technical Sales Engineer / Manager


📝 Job Description:

We are urgently hiring an experienced Technical Sales Engineer / Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in mechanical or hydraulic engineering and a successful track record in technical sales within the Oil & Gas sector in Qatar.


🎯 Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives.

  • Maintain deep technical knowledge of company products and provide expert-level support during the sales process.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in the Oil & Gas industry.

  • Deliver effective product demonstrations and presentations to potential and existing clients.

  • Provide technical consultation and product recommendations to customers.

  • Prepare detailed technical proposals and quotations.

  • Meet or exceed individual sales targets set by the management team.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and issue resolution.

  • Stay informed about market trends, competition, and client needs to identify new sales opportunities.

  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.

  • Travel to client locations as necessary.


📚 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Hydraulic Engineering.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry within Qatar.

  • Strong understanding of technical aspects of the products or services offered.

  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Valid Qatar Driver’s License.

  • Transferable visa with NOC is mandatory.


🛠️ Skills & Competencies:

  • Deep understanding of on-site machinery, tools, and equipment is highly desirable.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.

  • Strong sales acumen with proven ability to meet or exceed targets.

  • Excellent negotiation, client prospecting, and sales strategy development skills.

  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear, concise manner.

  • Relationship-building skills and adaptability to Qatar’s business culture.
