Job Description:
A leading MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) company in Qatar is seeking highly skilled and certified Mechanical Engineers to join its growing team. The selected candidates will be involved in the design, execution, and supervision of mechanical systems within various construction and infrastructure projects. Candidates must hold a valid Grade B or C UPDA certification and QCDD approval.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee mechanical engineering aspects of construction and infrastructure projects.

  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (Electrical, Civil, etc.) to ensure integrated project delivery.

  • Review mechanical design plans and drawings for HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting systems, etc.

  • Ensure all mechanical works are executed according to project specifications and QCDD regulations.

  • Attend site inspections and participate in testing, commissioning, and quality assurance activities.

  • Prepare technical reports, documentation, and material submittals.

  • Assist in procurement and selection of appropriate materials and equipment.

  • Provide support during QCDD inspection and approval processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

  • Valid UPDA certification (Grade B or C) from Qatar.

  • Valid QCDD Engineer Approval is mandatory.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in Qatar or the GCC region.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

  • In-depth knowledge of local codes, QCDD requirements, and international mechanical standards.

  • Excellent project coordination and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and mechanical design software.

  • Effective communication and team collaboration abilities.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
