Job Title:
Civil Engineer
Al Qareen Qatar is seeking a skilled and dedicated Civil Engineer with a strong background in site surveys, BOQ (Bill of Quantities) preparation, and CAD drawings. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of local experience in Qatar’s construction industry and be capable of handling a variety of civil engineering tasks efficiently.

Conduct detailed site surveys and prepare comprehensive site reports.
Prepare accurate Bill of Quantities (BOQs) based on project specifications and drawings.
Develop and modify CAD drawings (AutoCAD) as required for project execution.
Assist in project planning and scheduling in coordination with the project team.
Oversee daily site operations and ensure projects are progressing according to approved plans.
Communicate with contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
Monitor work progress, report on project status, and resolve technical issues on-site.
Ensure compliance with local construction regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
Support senior engineers and project managers in delivering project objectives.
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
Minimum 3 years of local (Qatar) experience in the construction industry.
Valid Qatar Driving License (preferred).
Must be locally available in Qatar with a transferable visa/NOC.
Strong knowledge of site surveying methods and equipment.
Expertise in BOQ preparation and quantity take-off.
Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant design/drafting software.
Familiarity with Qatar construction standards and practices.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Good communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
