Job Description:
The school is looking for an experienced Accountant / Accounts Assistant to manage daily accounting operations, maintain financial records, and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain general ledger and financial records.
Prepare vouchers, receipts, and payment entries.
Handle daily cash and bank transactions.
Reconcile accounts and bank statements.
Generate monthly and yearly financial reports.
Manage fee collection, billing, and petty cash.
Assist with audits and compliance-related work.
Qualifications:
B.Com (Bachelor’s in Commerce) or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a school or academic setting.
Skills Required:
Proficiency in Tally and accounting software.
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
Good numerical and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
Fluent in English with good communication skills.
