Job Description

Quantity Surveyor – Civil Engineer

📍 Location: Doha , Qatar

Job Description:

The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for estimating costs, managing contracts, and ensuring project budgets are maintained. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Ashghal projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and project schedules.

  • Analyze contracts, tender documents, and BOQs.

  • Monitor expenses and suggest cost-saving measures.

  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure financial efficiency.

  • Liaise with contractors, clients, and project managers.

  • Manage claims, variations, and dispute resolutions.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • UPDA certification is preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.

  • Experience in Ashghal projects is preferred.

  • Proficiency in cost estimation software (AutoCAD, Primavera, etc.).

  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
