Job Description:

Saffarini Qatar is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical & Electrical Design Engineer with 5-7 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in HVAC, smoke management, chilled water, and fire-fighting system design and possess strong expertise in electrical system design and calculations.

Key Responsibilities:

Mechanical Design Engineer Role:

  • Design HVAC systems, smoke management systems, chilled water networks, and fire-fighting systems for various projects.

  • Perform heat load calculations using HAP (Hourly Analysis Program).

  • Develop and analyze mechanical design layouts and schematics.

  • Ensure compliance with local and international standards.

  • Utilize AutoCAD and Elite software for drafting and design purposes.

  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to meet project specifications.

Electrical Design Engineer Role:

  • Design electrical distribution systems, including lighting, power, and ELV (Extra Low Voltage) services.

  • Conduct electrical load calculations and short circuit analysis.

  • Utilize AutoCAD, ETAP, and Lighting Software for electrical design and simulations.

  • Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and safety regulations.

  • Prepare technical drawings and specifications for electrical components.

Qualifications & Requirements:

✅ 5-7 years of relevant experience in mechanical and electrical design.
✅ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
✅ Proficiency in AutoCAD, Elite, HAP, ETAP, and Lighting Software.
✅ Strong understanding of HVAC, smoke management, chilled water, fire-fighting, electrical design, and ELV services.
✅ Knowledge of local and international building codes and safety regulations.
✅ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
✅ Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.
