Job Description:
Buhmaid Construction Company is seeking a skilled Vehicle & Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing construction vehicles and heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in construction vehicles and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on heavy machinery, trucks, and other company vehicles.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and replace defective or worn-out parts.
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance work comply with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with the operations team to schedule preventive maintenance and minimize downtime.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify faults and carry out necessary repairs.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in vehicle and heavy equipment maintenance.
- Technical diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in construction vehicle and equipment maintenance is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, diesel engines, and electrical systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple repair tasks efficiently.
- Good communication skills and teamwork.
- Must be locally available in Qatar with a transferable visa.
