Job Description:
A leading company in Qatar is looking for an experienced Design & Estimation Engineer to handle estimation tasks related to Fire Alarm, Fire Fighting, Emergency/Exit Light, and Ventilation Systems. The ideal candidate should also have experience in Oil & Gas tender estimation for both project and maintenance works.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates, proposals, and quotations for fire protection and safety systems
- Analyze project specifications and conduct site surveys if necessary
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to develop accurate estimates
- Evaluate vendor quotations and material costs to optimize project budgets
- Ensure compliance with QCDD and other regulatory requirements
- Participate in technical discussions and tendering processes for Oil & Gas projects
- Assist in project planning and risk assessments
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field
- 7 - 10 years of experience in Estimation for Fire Alarm, Fire Fighting, Emergency/Exit Light, and Ventilation Systems
- Experience with Oil & Gas tender estimation is preferred
- QCDD Certification is an advantage
- Qatar Driving License is preferred
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of fire protection systems and industry standards
- Expertise in cost estimation and project tendering
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and estimation software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects
