Job Description:

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor with extensive experience in Civil and MEP works to join our contracting company in Qatar. The candidate must have a deep understanding of project cost estimation, contract administration, and tendering processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and cost estimates.
• Conduct interim valuations and manage project payments.
• Handle variation orders and cost control measures.
• Prepare and analyze quotations and inquiries for tenders.
• Evaluate project costs, risks, and provide financial advice.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms and company policies.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams.
• Work on AutoCAD to review and extract quantities from drawings.
• Monitor project expenses and prepare financial reports.
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the best pricing.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Qatar in a contracting company.
• Strong knowledge of Civil and MEP works.
• Expertise in AutoCAD, BOQ preparation, tendering, and cost estimation.
• Experience in interim valuations, variations, quotations, and inquiries for tenders.
• Familiarity with Qatar's construction laws and regulations.

Skills Required:

• Strong analytical and numerical skills for cost estimation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
• High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
