Job Description:
Rahman Group is urgently seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Procurement Officer to join our procurement team in Qatar. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the procurement process for our construction projects, ensuring that all materials and services are acquired in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for construction projects.
- Source and evaluate potential suppliers, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials to the construction sites.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and supplier performance.
- Collaborate with the construction and finance teams to forecast procurement needs and budgets.
- Resolve any issues related to orders, delivery schedules, or quality of materials.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, specifically within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices in the construction sector.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office.
