Job Description:
The Procurement Manager will oversee the development and execution of a comprehensive supply chain strategy across local and international markets. The role focuses on building strong supplier relationships, managing procurement processes, and ensuring timely delivery of materials such as building and engineering supplies.
Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Management:
- Develop and execute procurement strategies across the region and international branches.
- Ensure efficient supply chain processes for building materials, engineering materials, and related commodities.
Supplier Relations:
- Identify and negotiate with reliable suppliers in local and global markets.
- Maintain strong relationships to ensure consistent quality and competitive pricing.
Market Analysis:
- Monitor local and international markets to identify trends and opportunities.
- Evaluate supplier performance and market conditions to optimize procurement activities.
Cost Management:
- Manage budgets, reduce costs, and ensure procurement aligns with company objectives.
- Develop cost-saving initiatives without compromising on quality.
Team Collaboration:
- Coordinate with internal departments to understand material needs and priorities.
- Work with logistics teams to ensure smooth transportation and delivery.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
- Prepare detailed procurement reports and updates for senior management.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of local and international markets for building and engineering materials.
Skills:
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven track record of driving procurement success in competitive markets.
- Familiarity with procurement software and tools.
