Job Description:
Kanto Design is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team immediately. The successful candidate will play a critical role in cost estimation, preparation of technical documents, and ensuring that project BOQs are accurate and comprehensive.
Responsibilities:
Technical Expertise:
- Review tender documents, including drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities, to understand the scope of work and requirements.
- Develop comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BOQs) in line with project specifications.
Cost Management:
- Prepare and arrange all required technical documents needed for tenders.
- Accurately estimate and price BOQs to align with project requirements and guidelines.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Education:
- Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
- Proven experience in quantity surveying, estimation, or a similar role.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Strong command of MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
Key Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of project specifications and industry standards.
