Job Description:
The Rigging Engineer will be responsible for planning and executing all rigging activities, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. The role involves developing lifting plans, supervising rigging crews, and providing technical expertise to optimize operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Rigging Operations:
Plan and execute rigging activities, including heavy lifting and material handling.
Develop and approve lifting plans and method statements.
Compliance:
Ensure all rigging operations comply with safety regulations and company policies.
Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures.
Supervision:
Oversee rigging teams to ensure adherence to project timelines and standards.
Provide on-site technical support and guidance.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of rigging operations, equipment inspections, and certifications.
Prepare reports on project progress and safety compliance.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in rigging operations within the construction or oil & gas industry.
Strong knowledge of rigging equipment and safety standards.
Certification in rigging and lifting operations is preferred.
Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
