Job Description:
The Chilled Water / Fire Fighting Piping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of piping systems for chilled water and fire-fighting networks in various types of facilities, including high-rise buildings and HVAC systems. The role ensures compliance with project standards and regulatory requirements while maintaining effective manpower and material control.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the installation of chilled water and fire-fighting piping systems.
- Manage above-ground and underground networks, including high-rise buildings and chiller plant rooms.
- Oversee HVAC equipment installation, fire pump rooms, water balancing, testing, and commissioning.
- Read and interpret shop drawings to plan material take-offs and manpower control.
- Ensure all work meets regulatory and project compliance standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in MEP construction, focusing on piping systems.
- Proficiency in reading shop drawings and conducting material take-offs.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and high standards in piping installations.
Skills:
- Excellent technical knowledge of chilled water and fire piping systems.
- Strong supervisory and communication skills to lead teams effectively.
