Job Description:
As a Procurement Officer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Procuring MEP engineering materials for assigned construction projects.
- Coordinating with the project engineering team to ensure procurement aligns with project requirements.
- Negotiating with suppliers to secure high-quality, cost-effective materials.
- Preparing purchase orders and obtaining the necessary approvals.
- Tracking delivery schedules to ensure timely delivery and maintaining project timelines.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience in procurement, preferably in MEP construction projects.
- Skills:
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in managing procurement processes and working with engineering teams.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Other Requirements: Must possess a thorough understanding of procurement best practices and supplier relationship management.
