Job Description

A well-established and large group in Qatar is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join their finance team. This role is essential to overseeing the company’s financial reporting and ensuring compliance with international accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of English, extensive experience in managing holding company accounts, and expertise in dealing with banks.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and prepare accurate financial reports in accordance with international accounting standards.
• Manage and consolidate financial statements for holding company accounts.
• Coordinate with banks for financial transactions, agreements, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
• Collaborate with the finance team to optimize financial operations and support strategic business decisions.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 8 years in a financial control or similar role.
• Language Proficiency: Strong command of the English language.
• Skills & Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of international accounting standards and financial reporting.
• Banking Experience: Proven experience in dealing with banks and financial institutions.
