IT Support Candidate

Job Description:
An International School in Qatar is seeking an experienced IT Support Candidate to provide technical assistance and support for IT hardware, software, and systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in IT support, including helpdesk functions, and must be familiar with managing IT infrastructure in an educational setting. Experience with PowerSchool application is highly preferred.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day IT support to staff and students, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage and maintain IT systems, ensuring smooth operation of all applications and hardware.
- Assist with the setup, configuration, and management of software and hardware across the school.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the PowerSchool application and provide user support for the system.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights within the school's IT systems.
- Conduct regular maintenance and updates of IT systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Support the implementation of new IT projects and initiatives across the school.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, preferably in an educational environment.
- Experience with IT Helpdesk support, troubleshooting software, hardware, and network issues.
- Familiarity with PowerSchool application is strongly preferred.
Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Knowledge of various operating systems, including Windows and Mac OS.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to solving issues.
